The two former Xscape bandmates are still great friends and both have recently ventured into the world of reality television. Tiny’s “The Tiny & Toya Show” on BET giving us an up close and personal look into her family life alongside hitmaker T.I. Kandi came in as a Freshman to a crew of Seniors on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”

Kandi Burruss Ditching RHOA & Her Fiance?

Word on the street is that Kandi Burruss can’t take the heat associated with her appearances on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta and has decided to leave when her contract is up this season. Of course you’ve heard of the drama between she and NeNe Leakes, she confirmed that the “drama” is indeed real.

Kandi feels that NeNe is a faker who plays all of her “friends” off of each other. While most people labeled her castmate, Sheree’ Whitfield as the troublemaker it was NeNe all along. (I dont think that) During her brief period on the show, Kandi, being from the “A,” is not one to sit by and be disrespected so she never fails to stand up to NeNe, which in turn causes conflict. Being that we’ve only seen a few episodes so far, the real drama has yet to be seen on the show.

Kandi also talked about her relationship with her fiance Ashley “A.J.” Jewel and inquired if they’d set a date. Kandi explained that there was no date and that the show has been a major stress factor in their relationship. Now before you start the rumor that Kandi and AJ are no more, I recently overheard AJ bragging about being engaged to Kandi so I’m assuming they’re still together. Whatever the case, Kandi’s decision to join the housewives cast seems to be causing more drama in her life than ever.

So Kandi Won’t Be A Housewife Afterall…

Ne-Yo and Kandi Burress of the Housewives of Atlanta were spotted at Luckie Food Lounge this past Wednesday in Atlanta, sponsored by Botchey Entertainment and Music Business Politics. Earlier that day Kandi was involved in a screaming match with NeNe Leakes on the radio and I hear the place was packed out with folks waiting to see a good fight. Nene never showed up though

As far as her relationship, Kandi recently revealed to E Online that a wedding probably won’t be happening in the future:

We haven’t set a date, and I’m just going to be real with you: We have been having serious issues. My drama has been ongoing since the taping has stopped. We just got engaged right before the taping of the show. So things that I would have to deal with or things I would have to learn about, I had to learn about and deal with it while the cameras were there, which makes things even more tense, you know what I mean?

Of course, but are you still together?
Um, we are dealing with things, but that’s about as far as I can go.
Ouch! I wonder if all those internet blogs slamming her fiance for having 6 kids had anything to do with it. Atleast, Kandi is making her own bank. I believe she has more money than all of the housewives combined. Pow!

Kandi Burress Defines B.L.O.G. + A Sneak Peak of ATL Housewives Season 2

Kandi Burress has decided to dedicate her next album to the internet. Since joining the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi has been the hot topic throughout the blogosphere. All the chatter about her engagement to Ashely “AJ” Jewel combined with all of the gossip about her past romantic relationships on the Atlanta Music scene inspired the title of her upcoming album, “B.L.O.G.” Which means…B*tches Love Online Gossip Kandi discussed the concept of her new album with Essence Magazine where she states:

“I came up with the concept based on things that were going that were relevant to what’s going on in my life now including the show and what things have been written about me and my fiancée by bloggers,” she admits. “The whole album isn’t about the show but there are definitely songs inspired from the show like “Fly Above,” and “It Must Be Good.”

“B.L.O.G.,” which is scheduled for a September release, will also feature “Superwoman,” a duet and anthem for single mothers with Burruss’s dear friend, former Xscape member and T.I.’s fiancée, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle. Other guest artists include Rick Ross, Gucci Man and Rashieda.

What perfect timing for a new CD! The 2nd season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta begins next week and Kandi’s first few episodes
